Stacey Brown Unangst

Stacey Brown Unangst, 42, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital, leaving a legacy of love and joy. She was the cherished daughter of David A. Brown and Margaret (Peggy Lou) Lipe Platt. Stacey is survived by her beloved daughter, Kyra Unangst, who was the source of immeasurable joy in her life. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers Christopher and Kevin Brown, her sister-in-law Olga Brown, and nephews Cameron Brown and Ayden Simon. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Dorothy Brown and Ira and Margaret Jones.

Stacey was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and has lived in Lancaster County since 1991. She graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1999 and received her cosmetology license from the Lancaster School of Cosmetology. As a child, Stacey was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes and would later have two organ transplants. She advocated for organ transplants and lived her life to the fullest daily.

There will be a Celebration of Stacey’s life on June 8, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Buchmiller Park, 91 South Ledwith, Lancaster PA; in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her precious daughter, Kyra.
