Leonard J Broskey Jr, age 69, died in his home in Lancaster, Pa on May 22. 2023. Born in McKees Rocks, he was the son of the late Leonard J and Kathryn E (Harris) Broskey Sr. He was a 1972 graduate of Moon Area High School. A proud long term resident of the Pittsburgh area who resided in Moon Twp, Robinson Twp and Oakdale. Upon retirement he relocated to Lancaster Pa after working 42 years with Merck and Ecolabs.

Leonard is survived by his brother, William and wife Evelyn (Aliquippa Pa). brother Thomas and wife Deborah (Lancaster Pa) and sister in-law Paula Zabela  (University Park Md). (5) Nieces, (2) nephews, (1) great niece, (3) great nephews and son in-law Josh Roscoe of Carnegie.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert S Zabela and daughter Amanda Broskey Roscoe.

Those who knew Len know he wasn’t comfortable being the center of attention and would rather provide than receive. His wishes were to meet his maker and journey to his final resting place as quietly and peacefully as possible.

There will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of these services we ask that a simple prayer of eternal rest be in your thoughts.
