Arlene Martin, 86, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2017. She was born in Lampeter on May 14, 1930 to the late Maris and Emma Warfel. She lived her entire life in Lancaster County, PA.
After retiring from Sears Arlene enjoyed working in her flowerbeds and spoiling her little dog Sonny as much as possible. She also liked reading her many religious books and hosting prayer meetings.
Arlene is survived by her son Paul Martin, Jr., sister Janet Rankin and foster son Richard Hufford. In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Martin, her second husband Raymond Manista, and siblings Joe Warfel and Estella Parmer Waters.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Arlene. She was a close friend of our family (Ackerman), especially when I was very young. She was a special lady. My condolences to the family.
