Charles W. Zimmerman

Charles W. Zimmerman Jr passed on July 22, 2023 at the age of 55 years surrounded by his family. He
was born on January 6, 1968 to the late Charles and Pauline Zimmerman. Zimmy, to all who knew him,
had a smart-ass personality, quick wit, and a constant willingness to help anyone who would ask.
He was employed as an auto-body technician and, when he was younger, would work with his father on
small engines in their garage. His family knew him for his incredible ability to master any hands-on
technical skill he would come across. He would often take up new hobbies to explore new interests,
such as beekeeping, farming, archery, and carpentry to name a few. He was an avid hunter, racer (2
years in a row division flat track; district 6 four-wheel flat track) and played poker with friends. He also
loved taking his kids and grandkids on hunting and fishing trips, along with spending time at his favorite
place in Illinois.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Brandy; children Paulina (Jeremiah) Harris, Janessa Stoner,
Courtney Zimmerman, Breanna Zimmerman, Angaleena Zimmerman; Grandkids (Jon, Miah, Lillee,
Lilliana).
Celebration of life will be at Elstonville Sportsmans Club on Aug 6 th , 2023 at 2pm.
