  • Ohhhhhhh, I loved your mom so much and do share in your loss. How happy Thelma must be to see her Ken. It was a long wait but she was so faithful to his memory.
    Edie Cunningham, Missionary with ABWE

  • Your mother was a very pleasant person; always smiling. I enjoyed talking and joking with her.
    With prayers and sympathy.
    Ethel Nolt

  • Jane, Pat, and Leon, I am so sorry for your loss. Thelma and I worked together for many years in Bible Visuals. I’ve always remembered her jolly laugh, her sharp mind, and her attention to detail. And her baked corn recipe! It was evident that Thelma loved the Lord and she was loved by all who worked with her at BVI. After Edie Cunningham (my co-worker) and I moved to Maine so I could care for my parents until their passing, we often spoke of Thelma and prayed for her.

  • Leon, my condolence to you and your family during your time of grief of the loss of your mother.
    Jeff Beard

  • I have fond memories of Thelma from our time at Long Memorial. For months after we came to LMUMC, she and Velma Quigly would leave the sanctuary together and I’d get their names mixed up. One Sunday they thought they could trick me, and they exchanged names…. Velma became Thelma and Thelma became Velma. We had a good laugh. Extending love and sympathy to Jane and Pat and their families. Mary Ann
