  • I was very sad to hear Syd passed away. He and my mom were close friends for a long time – she was in at least one band with him and took singing lessons from Romayne. I have some very fond memories of going with my mom to see Syd play, especially on Halloween one year when he dressed up as Hendrix. Syd had the best laugh and will be greatly missed. Wishing your family all the best in dealing with your loss.
