Susan Jeanne (Wozniak) Shank, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on April 11, 2024, surrounded by her children. She was 75 years old.  Susan was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 20, 1948.  She grew up in a close-knit family where she and her siblings, two sisters and two brothers, were fortunate to be surrounded by extended family.

Susan had four children, Richard, Jeanne, Mary Jane, and Karen, whom she loved dearly.  She was a devoted mother and strong role model.  Her children remember hot breakfasts before school, manners being extremely important, handmade clothing for them and friends, birthdays being a major holiday, and when mom was bored, a crocheted surprise showing up in the mail.  Susan spent the last year of her life with her children, living the best life possible and surrounded by love.

Susan had a successful career in sales and advertising.  Susan had a natural ability to connect with her clients.  She was smart, dedicated and funny.  When she was not working, Susan enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sewing and crocheting.  Listening to Elvis, bird watching and spending time with family topped the list of Susan’s most recent favorite activities.

Susan will be remembered for her strength and bravery, always wanting you to feel welcome, the love of her children and grandchildren, her dance moves and quick wit.  She will be deeply missed.
