William “Bill” Haldeman

William “Bill” Haldeman, 85, of Manheim, PA, passed away on October 30, 2016 while under the care of the Veteran’s Administration Hospice in Lebanon, PA. He was born in Lancaster County, PA to William and Mary Emma Miller Haldeman. Bill graduated from Hempfield High School and served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves. He was a long time member of the Landisville Church of God.

Bill’s career included working at Hoffman Seed, J.C. Snavely, Micro Precision and Power Draulics. A talented musician, he played clarinet and tenor saxophone and was a member of the Rohrerstown Band, Landler Kapelle German Band, and the Columbia VFW/Twin Roses Band. Bill adored and spoiled his dog Rosie. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, and leaves his friend and companion, Lisa Corrigall.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Church of God at 171 Church Street, Landisville, PA on Saturday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Tim Bistline officiating. Please consider wearing something red, Bill’s favorite color.
