Vincent J. Johnson
Vincent J. Johnson of Lititz, PA passed away peacefully on September 4, 2015 at home with his loving wife of 29 years by his side after battling kidney disease for 8 years.
Vince was born on April 17, 1940 in Brooklyn New York. He was a Motorcoach driver for 28 years and then most recently drove school bus for Groff, Inc of Lititz.
He loved to play golf, bowl, fish, and horseback ride and would share his knowledge with anyone who would listen. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 29 years, Dorothy; his two sons Vincent and wife Denise of Waymart, PA; Richard and wife Kim of Kingston, PA; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by three stepsons Lee Spoor and wife Salome of Douglassville, GA; Lenny Spoor and wife Theresa of Honesdale, PA; and Lynn Spoor of York, PA; and one stepdaughter Luann Snyder and husband Eric of Akron, PA and their daughters Addyson and Aldynne, who would light up his life every time he saw them. He also had 4 step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday September 19th at Akron Grace E.C. Church N 7 th St. and Fulton St., Akron, PA at 2 p.m.
