Theresa Noviello-Grimes

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, Theresa Ann Noviello-Grimes was called home to be with our Lord God and dance with the angels across the heavens.

Theresa was a devoted mother, stepmother, wife, daughter, sister, family member and friend.

Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1951, to Rose Marie and Leo William Noviello, she graduated from Loyalsock High School in 1969. She lived in the Williamsport area most of her life and became a jack of all trades. As a single mother, she worked at her family-owned restaurant, the famed Triangle Tavern. Theresa also worked at CA Reeds Paper Company and was a Secretary in the Domestic Relations Office at the Lycoming County Court House. Later, Theresa took a job with Well Span in the Lancaster/York area and moved to Columbia, Pennsylvania to marry the love of her life, Glenn Grimes.

For 25 years, Theresa and Glenn built a life full of memories with family and friends and traveled the world together. She was especially fond of their trips to “the old country” (Italy), something she had wanted to do her entire life. During retirement, Theresa spent time enjoying her hobbies and traveling to visit her family, friends and grandchildren - like a dedicated gardener tending to her family, watching them grow and bloom. She was a gentle soul and a fearless guardian of her loved ones, as wise as she was kind and as hard working as she was fun. Theresa was a proud, resilient Italian woman from the old neighborhood. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Glenn Grimes of Mount Joy; her sons, Jamie Frantz (Charity) of Wellsboro, PA, and Nathan Frantz (Kristy) of State College, PA; her stepson Mark Keller (Heather) of Lancaster, and her stepdaughter Molly Marquardt (Andy) of Lancaster; her grandchildren Adelyn (14) & Benton (12) Frantz of Wellsboro; Nadia Frantz (14) of Emmaus and Mackenzie Frantz (18) of New Jersey, and step-grandchildren Piper (15), Rowan (15) and Declan (18) Keller of Lancaster and Carter (18) and Ruby (14) Weight of State College, PA. Theresa’s three siblings, Dominick Noviello of Rock Hill, SC, Angeline Noviello of Williamsport and Mary Kelley of Lancaster will also keep Theresa’s spirit alive through their many fond memories of their childhood and time spent throughout their lives together.

There will be two Celebrations of Theresa’s Life for family and friends held in Lancaster and Williamsport.
