Steven M. Yoder, 68, of Lebanon, went home to Heaven on Friday, May 10, 2024, with his two boys and his brothers by his side, following a courageous battle against cancer.
Born in Belleville, PA, Steve was the son of the late Stephen and Frances Yoder. For most of his career, Steve was a Trucker with his best friend of 60 years, Rick Rollman, at Rollman’s Trucking. At the time of his passing, he was employed as a driver for R&L Carriers. Steve was a graduate of Warwick High School.
Steve enjoyed testing new recipes, smoking all types of meat, and grilling for his family. He was passionate about Harley Davidson motorcycles, Nascar racing, archery, collecting Camillus yellow jacket knives, pistol shooting, long range rifles and reloading for his friends and family.
Steve is survived by two sons: Steven M. Yoder II (husband of Shelly), Lampeter, and Eric C. Yoder (husband of Ashley), Lititz, and his three grandchildren who lovingly knew him as their “Pa”: Riley, Tenley and Harper. Steve is also survived by two brothers: Denny (husband of Sherry), Arizona, and Phil (husband of Melissa), Florida.
A celebration of life honoring Steve will be planned in the coming months, in Lititz, PA. Donations in memory of Steve can be made to the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute or the Trump 2024 Campaign.
