Sarah Karolyn ‘Kay’ Smuck, 67, of Leola, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning. She was the daughter of the late Karolyn and George Duckworth. She is survived by husband Raymond Smuck and a Daughter Gretchen Duckworth. She has five step-children: Wayne Smuck, Karen Stiles, Kathy Austin, Douglas Smuck, and Kenneth Smuck. She is also survived by six siblings: George Duckworth, Jeffery Duckworth, Kevin Duckworth, Jerry Duckworth, Wendy Keenan, and Hillary Taylor. Kay was a member of the Leola United Methodist Church which will hold a memorial service at noon on Saturday, 3 January. The church is located at 7 W. Main St., Leola, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Leola United Methodist Church or the Make a Wish Foundation.
