Rev. Daniel G. Mastros, 56, of Columbia, PA, passed away on November 8, 2015 at Mt. Joy Hospice. He was the husband of the late Rev. Judy Winskowski.
He was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late James Mastros and Josephine A. Carmichael. He received his Associates degree in Mathematics from Penn State, and was a student at HACC. He was president and founder of the WWII Oral History Club and the Battle of the Bulge History Group.
He is survived by his daughters Jody A. (Mike) Merva, Marietta, PA and Mandy M. Mastros, Bethlehem, PA, and sisters Dianne Flory, Columbia and Kathi (Larry) Metz, Mountville, PA. He is preceded in death by brothers Michael (Ellen) Mastros, and James M. Mastros. He was engaged to be married to Elizabeth Longenecker. He is also survived by five step-children, 3 nephews, 5 nieces, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Hope City Church, 227 N. Queen St., 3rd Floor, Lancaster, PA 17603 on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 12PM, with Rev. James Epperly officiating. Friends may greet the family beginning at 11 AM until the time of the service. There will be a private internment.
