Priscilla Anne Waltman

Priscilla ”Prissy" Waltman, 79, of Lancaster passed away on July 3, 2024 at Oak Leaf Manor in Landisville, PA surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James (Jim) Waltman. Priscilla was born in New York City and raised on Long Island. She moved to Hamden, CT in her teens where she attended Hamden High and eventually started her family there. She lived in Pittsburgh and Altoona before settling in Lancaster, PA in 1978. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital in various roles for almost 40 years, retiring in 2018. Priscilla enjoyed knitting, watching the Steelers, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Priscilla loved the ocean and enjoyed vacationing at Rehoboth Beach and going on cruises.

She is survived by her three children: Leslie Davenport of Raleigh, NC, Chris (Dana) Howard of Newtown Square, PA and Amy (Matt) Bennett of Lancaster, and her two stepsons: Jim (Krystal) Waltman and John (Michelle) Waltman both of Lititz, PA. Priscilla is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Ava and Jack Davenport, Abbey, Jake and Ben Howard, Lindsey, Sam and Drew Bennett, one great grandchild, Tolley Howard, 8 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren.
