Leroy H Redcay of Elizabethtown, 76 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 8th surrounded by his daughters. He was the son of the late Eli & Beulah Redcay.
Leroy was a truck driver, pilot and a self-employed landscaper. He previously attended Newville Bible Church for many years. Anyone who talked to Leroy for more than five minutes would see his love for the Lord, his joy in life and kindness to anyone that crossed his path. He especially loved his beagle, Molly, who he adopted 13 years ago.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Tammy Schaefer, wife of Richard, of Stuart, Florida, Toni Eberle, wife of Kenneth, of Elizabethtown, & Terri Bletcher, wife of Kirby, of Elizabethtown. Surviving in addition to his daughters, are three grandchildren, Asia Westbrook, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Daniel & Gabriella Eberle, both of Elizabethtown and former wife, Donna Redcay of Elizabethtown. Also, surviving are two brothers, Ken and Steve, both of Elizabethtown and a sister, Jan Reimer of Arizona. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Reuben, Ralph, Don, Harvey and Merle and a sister, Esther.
A memorial service will be held at the Moose Lodge, 126 Maytown Road in Elizabethtown on Sunday, February 23rd at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nittany Beagle Rescue, PO Box 127 West Decatur, PA 16878 or the Moose Lodge in Elizabethtown.
