Lenore Tomasky, 85, of Ephrata breathed her last breath on June 29, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom Tomasky and then boyfriend Al Moyer.
Lenore was a mother of five children; Dr. Tracy Tomasky, Tom Tomasky, Nancy Haas, Susanne Tomas and George Tomasky. She had nine grandchildren and a bakers’ dozen of great grandchildren.
Lenore was a connoisseur of gourmet foods and loved to be involved with many social and culinary events. She was the volunteer “Queen of Hospitality” at the Eicher House and won a contest through the Lancaster Chamber for the slogan,”Eat together, Bond forever”.
Our beautiful mother was a very active swimmer, teaching all of her children how to swim at an early age and winning several medals in swimming at the Lancaster Senior Games. Lenore was also a world traveler, making friends along the way as she visited Africa and the U.K. She was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church for over 50 years.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Hospice in Lenore’s name.
