Laura Elizabeth Norton

April 10, 1970 — April 23, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share that Laura Elizabeth Norton, 55 of Holtwood, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 23, 2025.

Laura was one of those rare souls who made people feel seen, heard, and truly loved—and she did it effortlessly. She was a woman of strong faith, endless joy, and quiet strength.

Laura, a Job Trainer for IU13, enjoyed helping others grow and poured her heart into her students, leaving a lasting impression. She also valued the simple things: reading her daily devotionals, relaxing at the beach, dancing to country music, boating, gardening, and sharing stories and plenty of laughs with the people she loved.

Laura was an essential part of the family unit—the one who showed up with advice when you were lost, with a joke when you needed to smile, or with open arms when life felt overwhelming.

Laura is deeply missed and forever loved by her husband, James Norton; her children, Jessica Norton and Nathaniel Norton; her mother, Carol Knaub; and her mother-in-law, Donna Norton. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: David Knaub (Betsy), Susan Snyder (Thomas), and Stephanie Bernard (Dominic); and her beloved nieces and nephews: Kristin Wert (Shane), Brian Knaub (Alexandra), Anthony Bernard, Joshua Knaub, Kayla Hilton (Timothy), Nicholas Bernard, and Alexander Bernard.

While we miss her more than words can say, we’re grateful for every beautiful moment we shared with her.

The family will be available for visitation on May 2nd, 2025 from 6:30 to 8pm, and again on May 3rd from 10 to 11am at Pequea Brethren in Christ church, located at 40 church road, Lancaster PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held following the visitation on May 3rd at 1100am. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon following Laura’s celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to honor Laura by dancing with someone you love, sharing a story, or just being present with those who matter most—because that’s exactly how Laura lived her life.
