Larry “Buddy” Kirchgessner III
October 24, 1985 – December 18, 2024
My husband, Buddy, went home to the Lord suddenly on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Buddy was the embodiment of love and light in human form. His laughter lit up a room, and his smile was infectious. He was kind and caring, always willing to lend a hand or a joke to anyone in need. He was the type of man that stopped in his tracks to handpick flowers to bring home to me just because he thought they were beautiful and knew it would make me smile.
Buddy is survived by myself, his wife Allexas, and our two beautiful children, Athena and Larry “Boe” Kirchgessner IV. He was a sports dad, and his life revolved around our kids. His favorite place to be was on the sidelines watching them play soccer and lacrosse, and he was so incredibly proud of both of them, on and off the fields. Buddy was always lightning quick to share pictures and videos of them with everyone he met because they were his greatest accomplishment in life.
To know him was to love him, and he was instantly everyone’s “buddy” that he met. Buddy had so much joy being surrounded by the people he loved, whether they were family or friends. He believed in people coming together over a meal and having conversations and felt that so many problems could be solved by sharing food and time with one another. While no formal service will be held, a celebration of his life will be held in the spring per his wishes.
We were very blessed with the kind of love for one another that is larger than this lifetime, and he is already so incredibly missed.
