Kristie Kroll

Kristie Ann (Olson) Kroll, 67, passed away on March 9, 2025 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was born in West Orange, New Jersey to Oscar and LaVerne Olson. Kris was a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and earned her master’s degree from Bowie State University. She was a classroom teacher and for the latter half of her career a reading specialist, dedicating her time and talent to helping children read at or above grade level. Kris was also involved in her local church, most notably singing in the choir and performing in the handbell choir. Kris’s additional interests included her hobbies of reading, gardening, sewing and baking, and those who knew her were often blessed to receive a dessert baked with love.

Kris was predeceased by her husband, James (Jim) T. Kroll, and is survived by her two children, Michael and Melissa, and her two siblings, Ken and Karen.

Friends are invited to remember and celebrate her life at 11am on Saturday March 15, 2025 in the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
