Kenneth R. Duncan, 78, of Jacobus, PA passed away on November 26, 2023 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, PA. He was born in Lancaster, PA to the late Charles and Caroline (Reneker) Duncan and was the husband of the late Florence (Kopf) Duncan with whom he shared 36 years of marriage. Also preceding him in death was his son, David L Duncan.
Ken graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School and Pennsylvania State University. He was a mechanical engineer and retired after many years from Caterpillar in York, PA. He attended Grace Bible Church in Shrewsbury, where he served as treasurer and was a member of the choir. Ken enjoyed reading, watching football, hunting, and spending time with family. He was a member of the Lancaster Jr. Rifle Club during high school and enjoyed target shooting.
He is survived by his son Michael R. Duncan of Jacobus, PA. Ken also leaves behind his devoted companion of 15 years, Mary Lou Hall of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by his brother Gary (Wanda) of Lancaster, PA.
Memorial services for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at First Reformed Church, 40 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. A private interment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Cemetery.
