Judy Lynn Suddoth, age 71, of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her home September 27,2021. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Vilma (McAllister) and Gene Robert Baldwin Sr. She was the biological daughter of the late Sonny Kline. Judy worked in Accounts Payable for Noxell Corporation, now known as Proctor & Gamble. Judy enjoyed planting flowers and herb gardens, had an eye for decorating, and loved to dance often doing so in the most random places. In her early years, she participated in the marching band, loved to swim in the Severn River, and climb trees. She marched in the Civil Rights Movement with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She had a political passion and loved her country.
She had a great sense of humor, loved her family, adored her grandchildren, as well as family get together. Holidays were always a joyous time for her, and she loved to bake and shop. She went above and beyond to make sure she had a gift for everyone. Judy had a firm faith in God and attended church regularly until she became ill. She instilled this same faith-based foundation in her daughter and granddaughters.
She was what some say a “social butterfly”, always striking a conversation with someone when out in public. She appreciated a home cooked meal mainly from her late husband who had a 4-course meal on the table when she came home from a hard day’s work. She loved cookouts and hot steamed crabs. When possible, Judy would travel and had visited Mexico, Venezuela, South America, as well as various states across the U.S.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa McLeod; two granddaughters Ariana DuPree and Mariah McLeod; one step daughter Lynn Dooms and her two children Brandon and Megan; one sister Kathy Bailey; a sister in law Donna Baldwin; three brothers Gene R. Baldwin Jr., Thomas Kline, and Kevin Kline; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Daniel Baldwin and Gary Kline Sr, as well as her husband Roy G. Suddoth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
