James Calvin Marshall

James “Calvin” “Calboy” Marshall, born on May 5, 1955, as Calboy would say 5-5-55, passed away on July 3, 2024. Known for his skilled hands, Calvin worked as a weatherization specialist, window and door replacement specialist and various other tasks. He was a happy, caring man who would do anything for his family, often using his carpentry skills to help out loved ones.

Calvin was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to let you know it. Calvin also had a deep passion for NHRA Drag Racing. His favorite place to be was at Maple Grove Raceway, where he found great joy.

Calvin was the beloved son of Israel and Carrie Marshall. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Marshall; his father, Israel Marshall; and his daughter, Marissa McLemore.

He is survived by his sister, Clarabell Gantz; his brothers, Charles, Joe, Vernon, John, Mike, and Paul; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Calvin will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 20, 2024

The Family will Receive Guests from 11:30-12:30 and a Service at 12:30.
