Grabill F Gorman

Grabill Franklin Gorman, 86, was born on November 21, 1938, to Grabill and Amelia Gorman (Kline) in Marietta, Lancaster County.

Grabill, a proud Air Force veteran, devoted husband, cherished brother, beloved father and admired grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 19th, 2025. His life was marked by service, hard work, and a deep love for his family.

Grabill served honorably in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Turkey during his tenure and would often share stories of unforgettable memories and the friends he served along side of. After his military service, he found his calling as a bartender, a role he embraced for over 30 years at the ‘Lancaster Host’, bringing warmth, humor, and a listening ear to countless patrons.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, with whom he shared 53 years and a lifetime of memories; his beloved sons, Ryan Gorman and Eric Gorman; and his cherished grandchildren, grandsons Drake Gorman and Grey Gorman, and granddaughters Dara Gorman and Samantha Gorman. Grabill also leaves behind his sisters Helen McCurdy and Linda Nornhold and his brother Blaine Gorman (Sherri Gorman) who will forever hold him dear in their hearts.

Grabill’s legacy lives on through the stories he told, the lives he impacted, and the family he nurtured. Following cremation, Grabill will be laid to rest in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Military honors later.
