E. Grace Houser

E. Grace Houser, 86, of Lancaster passed away on Friday November 8th at LGH.

Born January 19th, 1938 in Manor Township she was the daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Gerlach) Lefever.

Grace retired after 25 years from the West Lampeter DJ office. After retirement she went to work on the Wiker Farm, Strasburg and worked in the greenhouse until the age of 82. Gracie truly enjoyed working in her yard, & feeding her birds. Family was everything to her.

Grace was proceeded in death by her husband of over 22years, George Houser, a daughter DeDe Stauffer, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by two sisters Gladys Sensenig (Irvin) and Ruth Simpson, 2 daughters, Dawn (Clyde) and Dana. She has 6 grandchildren, Amber, Adriane, Marty (Sarah), Jake, Eddie (Kat) and Ethan. She also has 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews along with her best friend Twixy.

A celebration of life will be held at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Monday November 18th at 11:00am with Pastor Mike Sigman officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10am-11am. Internment will be private at the convenience of the family.
