Douglas E Lockard

Douglas E. Lockard, 69, of Maytown, PA passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lloyd L. Lockard Jr. and Janice E. Lockard (nee Hart). He was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd L. Lockard, III. 

Doug worked for C.Y. Tanger & Sons for 40 years as a wholesale hardware salesman up until company closure, the Manheim Auto Auction and Nordstrom, before retiring in 2017. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and would run a football pool in his spare time. In his earlier years, he enjoyed yearly family trips to Knoebels. More recently, he enjoyed life by spending time with family, watching football and gossiping about the news. 

He is survived by his daughter, Heather, son-in-law Randy Kuhn, granddaughters Piper and Brenna and beloved nieces and nephews.
