Donna Hahn

Donna L. Hahn passed away on November 16, 2024 at her Mount Joy home with family by her side after a long battle with illness. 

She was married 58 years to her loving and dedicated husband Lloyd R. Hahn. 

Born in Lancaster, PA on August 19, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Jay Richard Herr and Jeane (Schneider) Herr.

Donna was a former student at Donegal High School and a Mount Joy resident most of her life.

In addition to her husband Lloyd she is survived by: her daughters, Christine M. Hahn of Mount Joy, PA, Jody L. Nielsen, wife of Dennis Nielsen of Carlisle, PA and Pamela A. Hodgson of Belgrade, MT; seven grandchildren, Erin Aquino, wife of Kyle Aquino, Michael Boltz and fiancée Kitana, Kaelin Hodgson and fiancé Dallen, Devin Bowers and wife Sierra, Thomas Hodgson, Rebecca Hodgson and Sophia Boltz; three great grandchildren, Layla, Isaac and Jameson; and sister Joann Frymoyer, wife of Dennis Frymoyer of Mount Joy, PA.

Donna worked as a cook for the Hempfield School District at Farmdale Elementary School for many years. Donna loved spending time at the cabin in Potter County, cooking and family picnics. Being home and in the mountains was always something she enjoyed.

Donna was an active member of the Ironville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and was also a Girl Scout Leader.

Her love for her children and grandchildren was heart healing. She loved them so much, all were special.

Donna also loved playing games and puzzles on the iPad, black jellybeans, listening to the oldies, sloths, and watching tv (especially Walker Texas Ranger).

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a contribution to Hospice and Community Care of Lancaster or the MS Society. No service is planned at this time, the family is planning a celebration of life picnic next spring.
