We remember and mourn the loss of Debbie Witmer, born on August 29, 1958, and passed away on January 25, 2024. A remarkable blend of warmth, wit, and resilience, Debbie’s laughter and love were infectious, bringing light into the lives of those who knew her.
A devoted family woman, Debbie is survived by her niece, Tammy Witmer; her sisters, Robin Sperow and April Ellis; her brother, John W. Witmer; and her nephew, Ronald Witmer; and her niece, Stephanie Stark. She was predeceased by her father, John O. Witmer, and her mother, Ida P. Witmer.
Debbie had a knack for nurturing relationships, a trait that extended to her favorite television shows ‘Young and the Restless’ and ‘Bold and the Beautiful’. Her fondness for storytelling was also evident in her love for Disney movies. A dedicated follower of the Eagles, Debbie enjoyed cheering for her team as much as she did her favorite pastime, crafting.
A lover of the ocean, Debbie’s favorite vacation spot was the beach, where she found serenity and joy. Her passion extended to her causes—she loved her family dearly, and that love was the foundation of her involvement and advocacy.
Blue, a symbol of depth and stability, was Debbie’s favorite color—a reflection of her own personality. Funny, caring, loving, and outgoing, she taught everyone the true meaning of love. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
Debbie Witmer will be deeply missed, her absence keenly felt in the lives of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on, cherished in memory and in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
