Deborah Elaine Haywood, 56, of Lancaster went home to Father God on November 25, 2016 at Hospice of Mount Joy. She was born on April 14, 1960. The daughter of Dorothy L. Haywood and the late Joseph Haywood. She was daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She graduated from JP McCaskey High School in 1978. She also served in the military. she was a lot of things to a lot of people. Most of all she was a witness for God. She was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, East Strawberry Street, Lancaster, PA. she was a true animal lover, especially (Bucket) her dwarf rabbit. She was a den mother, Sunday school teacher, Treasurer, superintendent, baby sitter (church). Big sister, 4H club, Boys and girls club, camp counselor, VBS teacher at South Christian Street Mennonite Church. She was an advocate for God. She collected Bibles and gave them out. She is also survived by Pamela C James, Carol A. Chitala (Beston) Joseph Haywood and wife (Desiree) Her 2 precious children Joseph A. Haywood and Natasha Lee (Haywood) Moore (Anthony) and nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service at 450 E. Strawberry Street, Lancaster, PA. 17602 Bethel A.M.E. Church on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 10:00am. With Rev.
