David Seachrist

David P. Seachrist, 72, of Lancaster Pa died late Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Mount Joy Hospice facility. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert Seachrist and Fauvette Starr. David was a Vietnam War era veteran serving as a paramedic. While serving in the army he developed severe asthmatic symptoms and was given a full medical discharge. He fought a lifelong battle with asthma and even with his limited physical capabilities worked in many different jobs over the years.

David is survived by his four sons. David Dickel III of Ephrata, Paul Seachrist of Lancaster, David Seachrist of Laredo, TX and Kevin Miller of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by four grandchildren and an older brother, Robert K Seachrist Jr of Cocoa, FL. He was predeceased by his 3 siblings: Joyce E. Kisselback, Theodore R. Seachrist and Kenneth A. Seachrist.

There will be a Celebration of Life, pot luck meal, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 3 pm at 438 Mulberry St. Lancaster, Pa.
