Daphne Hammer, of Stevens, passed away on February 2, 2021, at her home. Born in Lancaster, on December 18, 1969, she was the daughter of Albert and Betty Eberly. She was the wife of the late John Hammer.
Daphne enjoyed going to the mountains and listening to country music. She loved watching the wildlife on her trail cams. Daphne absolutely loved her pets, especially her newest addition, a dog named Quinn. She was the kindest, most giving, and friendliest person, and was excited to always try new things. Daphne enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, playing cards, watching movies, doing puzzles, or just relaxing. She was a hard worker; not only at life but at her previous job with F & M Hat Company for over 15 years.
Daphne is survived by her parents Albert and Betty Eberly of Akron, a son, Travis Glass of Coalport, PA, a step-daughter, Heather Ream of Lancaster, and a step-son Tatum Hammer of Denver, her sister Cheryl Knier of Akron, and a brother Eric Eberly of Huntsville, Alabama. Three grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and many other friends and family.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Daphne will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Bethany United Church of Christ; 140 East Main Street Ephrata, PA. starting at 1 PM. Family and friends are welcome.
