Dale W. Esbenshade, 79, of Manor Township, died under hospice care, on May 18, 2024.
He was born on September 9, 1944, in Lancaster, PA. He was the son of Dorothy (Eshleman) and Frank W. Esbenshade, both deceased. He graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School, class of 1962. He first worked at Educators Insurance Company, and retired from Donegal Insurance Company.
He is survived by his wife, Jesslyn (Phipps) Esbenshade, and son, Carlton P. Esbenshade, of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by a brother, Richard, (wife Judy) of Hampstead, NC, and a sister, Janet Seyfert, (husband John) of Landis Homes. He is also survived by a brother, Dean, (wife Linda), of Paradise, PA.
He enjoyed playing his banjo, and singing gospel songs with friends throughout the years.
He was a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church. At his request, there will be no service.
