Christine B Thomas

Christine Burkhard Thomas went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 14th, after a long illness. She departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Christine was the devoted wife of Fred M. Thomas for over 52 years and a cherished resident of Ephrata for the same length of time. She was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Burkhard of Huntington Valley, PA. Christine is survived by her husband Fred, her two sons, Daniel Thomas of Lancaster, PA, and David Thomas of Mountville, PA, her goddaughter Courtney Fogie of Akron, PA, eight grandchildren, her sister Donna Lob’s of North Carolina, and her brother Carl Burkhard of Boyertown, PA. Christine was deeply cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She was a woman of great faith and a servant’s heart. Her roles as a dedicated wife, loving mother, godmother, and active church member, including her participation in the church choir, children’s ministry, and Ephrata social services, made her a special and busy lady
