Caroline Purdy Paulus, age 62, of Nottingham, PA passed away peacefully on July 04, 2023, at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. She was the daughter of the late Roger and Marion (nee Kimball) Purdy.
Caroline grew up in Swarthmore, PA, attending Swarthmore public schools where she enjoyed playing Tennis. After high school she married David Paulus and moved to Southern Lancaster County where they raised their two sons, Christopher and Nathaniel.
Caroline was a loving and caring mother who spent most of her life thinking about others. She took pride in her historic home that was built in 1758. She was passionate about her property, enjoyed spending time there with family, cooking, and going for walks around the neighborhood and in her field. In her free time, she enjoyed nature, wildlife, and collecting items related to Frogs and Pugs. You could always find her listening to music, gardening, and making new friends wherever she went. All who knew her remember her infectious laugh, warm smile and caring heart.
Caroline is survived by her sons Christopher Paulus of Lancaster, PA and Nathaniel (Kylee) Paulus of Holtwood, PA; sister-in-law Diane Purdy of Glenside, PA; brother Henry (Carolina) Purdy of Cincinnati, OH; as well as nieces and cousins.
