Mary M. Sweeney, 59, of Lancaster, PA passed away on February 1, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. She is survived by her son, Kevin Messer, and siblings, Cheri Paterson, Donald Snyder, and Frank Snyder. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service at Wesley United Methodist Church in Strasburg, PA on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2pm. Friends may greet the family from 1-2 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Wesley United Methodist Church, 40 W. Main Street, Strasburg, PA 17579.

Kevin ~~ Woody stopped by on Sunday to tell me of your mother’s passing. She certainly fought the good fight, but it seemed the odds were against her from the start. You and the family have my sympathy and prayers. Weather and health conditions permitting, I’ll be at the service on Saturday.
