Mark E. Hopple

Mark Eugene Hopple, 51, of Bainbridge, PA, passed away on July 20, 2018.  He was the loving husband of Susan Stone-Hopple, and father of Felicia Ann Beaver and Victoria Layne Hopple.

He was born on July 12, 1967 in Harrisburg, PA, to Melvin E. Hopple, Jr. and Connie L. Cunningham .  Mark attended John Harris High School in Harrisburg, PA and graduated from Middletown Area High School, Class of 1986.  He is an active member of the Conoy Brethren in Christ Church where he assisted with the Food Bank. He also volunteered at Roxbury Holiness Camp.  Mark was a NASCAR fan and a Philadelphia Eagles fan.   He was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsman’s Club, Middletown Anglers and Hunters. Mark loved camping all year round with his family. Mark was always thankful to men/women that served in our countries military.

He is survived by his Wife, Susan Stone-Hopple; Daughters Felicia Ann Beaver and Victoria Layne Hopple of Bainbridge, PA; Mother Connie L. Cunningham of Enola, PA;  Step-mother Linda Hopple of Harrisburg, PA;  and Brother Scott A. Hopple and Wife Tammy Hopple of Palmyra, PA and many nieces, nephews, with a large circle of family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at the Conoy Brethren in Christ Church, Elizabethtown, PA on Saturday August 4,2018 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Al Frank officiating. Friends may greet the family from 11:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

    This was so shocking to me and not the way it is supposed to be. When we reconnected at his dads funeral celebration and then again when my mom passed it made me realize that we had so much in common. More so than I would have ever thought. He was a GOOD man and a caring and loving husband and father. I will always be proud to call him my cousin. He will be sorely missed.
