Lester E. Parsons, Jr.

On October 27, 2016, Lester E. Parsons, Jr., 61 years old from Gap, passed away at Mt. Joy Hospice Care Unit. He was the husband of Carole (Combs)Parsons for 27 years.

He is also survived by Lester Parsons, III of York, Leslie Parsons of Lancaster, son Dakota R. Parsons (serving in USAF Dover Delaware); one step-son Tyler Karmilowicz (wife Lauren) of Ephrata. Siblings include: Donna Parsons of Conestoga, William Parsons of Conestoga, Allen Parsons (wife Lisa) of Christiana; several nieces and nephews.

Les was employed at The Home Depot of Downingtown.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed metal detecting.

Please come to a Celebration of Life on November 12, 2016, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the E. Lancaster Rod & Gun Club, 966 Smyrna Rd.,Kinzer, PA 17535.

  • Our thoughts and prayers are with you Carol as another good one passes into eternity,Les was such a fun guy,he will be missed by all who knew him.

  • Although I would only bump into Lester now and again. He was part of the ” Christiana ” we all grew up in. So most of my memories are from back in those days. Most important – he was one of those guys who was good to everyone, even as a teenager, way back when. I am very sorry to hear that he has passed on. Prayers for all of his family
