  • A wonderful friend and an outstanding principal who I knew my entire career with SD of L. Thanks for the memories!
    They are cherished.

  • I wrestled for JP Mcaskey. When Jere came in a match against us he was the best at his weight class I had ever seen. A wonderful guy!! He loved puppies. He was special. He was also humble . Glad to have known him!!

  • Jeff and Sandy, so sorry to hear of Jere’s passing. I really enjoyed those years standing in the hallway at F&M swapping stories while our sons practiced at LAW. What a warrior to fight The cancer for 7 years. Wrestlers mentality I suppose. Our condolences to y’all and your family. God Bless.

  • Jere hired me as a First Grade Teacher at Stevens School in the fall of 1980. He was one of the best principals I ever worked with during my teaching career. He was always friendly, supportive, and really cared about the students. I always enjoyed running into him over the years after Stevens closed. May he rest in peace and his memory be a blessing to his family.

  • To the Kenderdine Family,
We were so sorry about Jere, he was quite a guy. I had to reread that article about the wrestling Kenderdines – and look at the great picture. You have to be the most faithful at the Bare family dinners – there were always a lot of Kenderdines there. Our deepest regards to you all.

  • Jere hired me at Wharton where I taught until I retired 17 years later! Great principal. he will be missed.

  • Kenderdine family … So sorry for your loss. Jere was always there with a kind hello and a “how are you doing”. He listened to the answer. He had a great career in education and was a fine representative of the wrestling community. Our hearts go out to you on the loss of your brother. May peace be with you. Our condolences, Bob and Sharon Bolenius and Family.

  • You will dearly be missed. I will miss the monthly talks we would have about all your friends from Wharton School. I know you loved meeting with us for lunch when you were able. You were a super boss and loving friend to all of us. We miss you. Love, Your friend, Beverly
