Jeffrey William Pearce

Jeffrey William Pearce (63) of Conway, S.C. passed away after a brief and heroic battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  His son Brian and his daughters Dana & Dawn in Willow Street, PA surrounded Jeffrey at the time of his passing.  Jeffrey verbalized a feeling of peace and acceptance prior to his death; stating that he was ready to go home to his mansion in the sky.

Jeffrey was born to Lyle and Mary Ann Pearce on September 23, 1959 in Albany, NY.  He served in the United States Marine Corps as a young man and relocated to Myrtle Beach, S.C. many years later; where Jeffrey developed a love of golfing and Landscaping.  He was loved by many friends; especially those from The Legends, Grumpy Monk and Handley’s.

Jeffrey was a fiercely proud father of 7 and grandfather of 12.  He is survived by 7 children; Jeffrey (Carrie) Pearce, Dana (Michael) Wiwczar, Brian (Meagan) Pearce, Dawn Pearce, Erica Pearce, Amanda (Christopher) Diaz and James (Mackenzie) Pearce.

On January 28th, 2023 Jeffrey made the brave choice to leave the hospital and battle his cancer diagnosis surrounded by friends and family.  Thank you to Jim and Michelle for hosting our father prior to his decision to move to Pennsylvania with his daughter and triplet grandsons. The time spent in Myrtle Beach with friends and family was precious to him and we will always cherish the love and kindness that was extended to our father and our family.

Jeffrey’s children will organize a celebration of life in the coming weeks (to be celebrated in Myrtle Beach, S.C.).

  • I will miss you and think of you always, I’m still in complete disbelief, I will miss when you pulled up and was listening to NPR and the neighborhood could hear it, and had such strong beliefs about right and wrong, and you always had something to say about your family and how much you missed and wanted to be with them, I hope you’re in a better place brother.

  • I will miss Jeff so much. He and I spent many occasions on the golf course and an occasional beer at Handleys. Surely will miss sharing our conservative views and just general conversations of life. Rest in peace my friend. Love you brother.

  • To Dana and family .. my thoughts and prayers are with you …I am so sorry for your loss .. what a blessing that you were all together surrounded by love and faith ❤️ Your love and connection is eternal ❤️💕💕💕

  • May your family find absolute peace in the fact that Jeff was at peace himself. With his life, and the next phase eternal. It was a blessing to know him.

  • Jeff was a man of many talents! But I truly feel the best talent of all was his love of family. He always shared pictures of his family and was so very proud of each and every one of them! Jeff had a heart of gold and will be missed by all!

  • I am deeply sorry Jeff suffered so terribly and died. I have been praying for him since learning he was sick. I am so relieved that he felt peace and acceptance prior to his death and that he was ready to return home to God. I will continue to pray for him, and I pray his children and friends will eventually find peace and acceptance in the loss of Jeff.

  • Jeff was a long time friend of ours. He is missed so much. He was so proud of his family- always talking about them.
