Jean E. Kistler Jeffries passed away peacefully on May 11, 2016 at Hospice in Mount Joy, PA. She was the wife of Lester G. Jeffries who passed away in 2014 and also the wife of David L. Kistler who passed away in 1965.
She was born on February 9, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Howard and Olive Altenderfer.
She worked as a secretary most of her life and enjoyed doing crafts, flower gardening and traveling.
Surviving are her two daughters, Barbara and Rebecca and 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Her daughter, Susan, preceded her in death.
Also surviving are her three stepsons Carl, Leroy and George and her brother Howard Altenderfer.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild very much.
I have happy memories of Jean and she will be missed. I will miss our
Jeffries Reunion every May which Jean helped Lester on getting together
the Reunion for about ten years.
I have very fond memories of Aunt Jean and she was always so happy to see us on the holidays. I know Howard will miss her but her mother Olive and daughter Susan will be glad to have her with them. I love you Aunt Jean.
