Gregory Paul Like, 65, passed away on Friday, November 10th, 2023 at Hospice in Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of Elwood and Ella “Francis” Like.
He grew up with two siblings, Jack Like and Wendy Like (Wesselhoft). He attended J.P. McCaskey High and received his GED in the 1980’s. He met his wife Teresa “Lynn” Like and had two children, Christina Like (Bowers) and Matthew Like. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in August, 2023.
Greg worked as a skilled laborer for companies including: Playskool, Hanover Foods, and Elizabethtown College. His favorite activities included: shopping in thrift stores, singing, fishing, attending First Friday gallery shows, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, children, and three grandsons: Avery Like, Tristan Like, and Henry Bowers. He loved his grandchildren very much.
A private gathering will take place on Friday, November 17th, which would have been Greg’s 66th birthday. Please contact the family to attend.
Greg will be laid to rest in Conestoga Memorial Park in Lancaster, PA.
