George A. Vermeulen, Jr.

George A. Vermeulen, Jr., 67, of Lancaster, passed away on 31st, January, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Donna Skiles Vermeulen.

George had retired in 2018 but he loved volunteering for “Pets with Santa Photo” Fundraisers with Lancaster County Pet Pantry. His favorite time of the year was Christmas and loved wearing the Santa Suit to spread joy for so many pet rescue and day care organizations.

He was an auto hobbyist and loved working in his garage and going to car shows. He loved talking, meeting new friends and reminiscing with old car buddies. Often at car shows you would always see him with a camera – He wanted to cherish every minute and loved photography. George and his wife Donna loved beach vacations at Ocean City, MD where
