  • My heart is broken for the Barton family. I have many fond memories from my childhood with Mr. Barton. My thoughts go to his wife, children and grandchildren as well as all those whose lives were touched by him.

  • Our love and sympathies to the Barton family. Cousin Fred was a wonderful older cousin who was endlessly patient with me, a little girl, on our family visits to his folks. He always explained things so carefully, and retained his droll sense of humor all his life. I’ll miss his emailed “Musings” and keen wit. Cousin Fred had a deep faith in the Lord and was an example to all. He will be missed by all who knew him.

  • My thoughts and Prayers are with you Lillian and your family. I so appreciate your Fred and just loved spending time in conversation with him. I am so glad that he is in eternal rest, but we will so miss him.
