Frank W. Jenkins

Frank W. Jenkins, 66, of New Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 3 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Lancaster on May 4, 1947 to the late Frances Groff Bower Jenkins and Herald W. Jenkins, Sr.

He graduated from J. P. McCaskey High School, class of 1965. He served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam. He worked for Caterpillar Corp. in York, Conestoga View as an activity aide, Joann Fabrics and Dollar General Stores.

He is survived by his partner of 12 years, Edward F. Schmeer, his sisters, Glada J. Hettinger of New Providence; Anna J., wife of Raymond C. Meyers, Jr. of Dry Fork, Virginia; and brother John D. Jenkins, husband of Nancy Weidman Jenkins of Washington Boro, PA. He is also survived by three nephews and one niece, six great nephews and six great nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald A. Bower.

Memorial Service will be on Saturday, May 10 at Grace Community Church 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 at 2PM with visitation from 1PM til time of service at the church.
