Elmer C. Leigey III, 70, of Ephrata PA was called home to the Lord on January 16th, 2021. He spent his finally hours surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of the Clearfield area, He was the son of Elmer C. Leigey II and Alberta Maines Leigey. Elmer is preceded in death by; his loving wife of 50 years, Joy M. Leigey, his son Mark Leigey, and a Grandson Michael Leigey. Surviving are; his children,Sherry Leigey partner of Ken Kahley, Andrew Leigey husband of Monica, and Jolene Leigey, family friend Jan Fisher, grand children Amanda, Marcus, Kayla, Nickolas, Jordan, Zachary, Brandon, Hunter, Sarah, Abigail, and five great grand children. Also his brothers Larry, Dave, and Jay. He spent his life driving truck and working as a diesel and inspection mechanic, retiring from Rohrers Quarry in 2015. In retirement Elmer enjoyed fishing, helping his kids and grandkids work on cars, and unwinding with a beer. Private memorial will be held at a later date.
