Dennis Lee Hoffman, 56, of Ephrata, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018 in presence of family.

Born in Ephrata, he was the loving son of Paul R. Hoffman, Sr. and the late Miriam A. (Wenger) Hoffman.

In addition to his father, Dennis is survived by three siblings, Paul R. Hoffman Jr., husband of Barbara, Lancaster, PA, Darlene J. Gingrich, wife of Kevin, Ephrata, PA and Michelle L. Hoffman, Lititz, PA.

Dennis was also known as “Cakes” to those closest to him. He cherished time with his nephew and two nieces and three great-nephews, which he adored. Chad M. Gingrich, Ashley N. Lewis, Jessica A. Di Paolo and grand-nephews, Cooper Lewis, Cayden Di Paolo, and Fletcher Lewis.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother who became a heavenly angel as well earlier this year. Dennis loved his family, and countless friends who took time for him and truly appreciated each one.  Knowing Dennis was to know his passion for fishing and the Eagles.

Memorial service will be held at Lititz Mennonite Church, 165 Front Street, Lititz on Friday December 7, 2018 with Pastor Rodney Martin officiating. All may greet the family from 6:00PM to 7:00PM with his service to start at 7:00PM. Refreshments to follow in the church social hall as family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate Dennis’ life.
