Charles “Dave” Pettit, 58, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015. He was the husband of Saundra “Saunny” Pettit. He was the son of the late Charles “Bill” Pettit & Betty Pettit, of Belleville, PA. A graduate of Hempfield High School, Dave worked for Ever Green Tree & Lawn Care for 25 years. Dave enjoyed visiting Ocean City, MD & the mountains in Germania, PA. He loved Nascar and Parties at “the land”; but most of all he loved his family, friends, dog Nikki and Shamrock family. Along with his wife, Saunny, and mother, Betty, Dave is survived by his son, Thad Wolf and wife, Karen; three grandsons, Thaddeus, Wyatt, and Bryden Wolf; as well as a sister, Susan Coladarci. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Oaks Club House, 291 Black Oak Drive, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Matt Heckman officiating.

Dave was a great friend to us for years.what a great driver he was he drove me to the mountains several times i had great trust in him,He also was a good babysitter for our belated Pat Dog, Saunny and him would come and stay at our house to tend to Pat while we where away even though Pat would eat there food. We are going to miss him so much we had so much fun in the mountains together at Just One More Camp. Love Smitty & Charlotte
Dave was always so professional when working on our lawn. I’ll miss his friendly smile and our nice conversations. He was a good man.
