Chadwick Eugene Mellinger

Chadwick Eugene Mellinger, 55, of Ronks, PA, died and went to heaven on Monday morning, November 20, 2023, at Hospice & Community Care after a brave fight against cancer. He was the loving father of Elizabeth Moon Work, Victoria Star Mellinger, and Isabella Sun Mellinger and a loving grandfather to Tyler David.

He was born in Lancaster, PA and earned his G.E.D. as an adult. Chad loved working in the furniture/cabinet industry and was working on publishing a hydroponics book with his sister.

Also, his love of wolves inspired a wolf-themed coloring book that was published in his honor. Watching movies and tinkering were some of his favorite activities.

Chad gave his life to the Lord and was baptized in 2012. Knowing Chad is in heaven brings comfort to his family and friends. He is also survived by parents Charles Lloyd and Vivian Diane Mellinger, and sister Theresa Nadine Reinhardt.

A Celebration of Life service and picnic will be held in the Spring when the weather is warmer.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chad’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552 – they have blessed Chad, his family, and dear friends with loving care during Chad’s illness.
