Alexander S. Patterson

Alexander S. Patterson, 37, of Lancaster, PA passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 unexpectedly. He was born in Lancaster, PA on July 1, 1985 to Tina Stern, whom preceded him in death. Alex graduated from JP McCaskey High School and went on to receive his Associate Degree in Specialized Electronic Technology from York Technical Institute. He was married to his wife, Angie, on October 31, 2018. Alex loved tinkering in his garage and was always fixing something. He doted so much over his dog, Lucian, and loved taking him on long walks, hikes and to play in the river.

Alex is survived by his grandmother Delorice Ricketts, his aunt Tonya Ricketts, a brother William Patterson, a sister Alyse Hernandez, a niece and three nephews. He is also survived by his stepchildren Olivia Cosme and Nathaniel Hudler and a loving wife, Angie.

Alex was an old soul, who was lost and could not find the direction he was meant to go. He struggled daily to be the person he thought he was expected to be never embracing the loving, kind and sometimes funny man he was. We mourn his passing and Angie’s Bear will greatly be missed. Please respect our decision not to have a service, but Alex would not have wanted that.

  • My condolence and sympathy to the family of Alexander. Especially my friend of long ago, Delorice Ricketts. It’s hard to lose a child or especially a grandchild, so much younger. He was way too young. Rest in Peace young man.
