To Jim’s family; I had the pleasure of working with Jim when he was a Rover for the Registration and Election Board. He was so pleasant and professional with everyone who met him. My deepest sympathies to you.
To Linda and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I worked with Jim and Linda for many years. Jim was a terrific guy who always brought a great sense of humor to even the most challenging of situations. He will be sorely missed as he has been at McNeil since he retired. You have my sincerest condolences.
Dear Linda ad Family,
I was hoping I could be there on Friday to convey my sympathy in person and to pay tribute to a man God gave us all as a gift. He surely will be missed. Unfortunately, I have to work and couldn’t get the time off. I will be there in spirit as you celebrate the life Jim lived. I know Jim and Linda thru their volunteer work at Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County. Jim volunteered his time and truck to help me physically move families out of the shelter into their housing. I could always count on him. He treated our clients with respect and dignity It was during these moves that I really got to know Jim as a person. He was a very caring generous man. Jim shared stories about his time in the Air Force and often talked about how Linda and he spent time helping others in a variety of capacities. This world and Lancaster County specifically is a better place because of Jim. I feel blessed to have been part of his journey.
With sincere condolences for your loss,
To Linda and family,
Jim will be deeply missed by all who were honored to know him. He was a kind and caring individual. He made me still believe that there are still a few “good” men out there. RIP Jim.
Love,
Deb B., DVS
Thoughts and prayers with the family of Jim. Worked with Jim and Linda for years and always cherished those times with Jim because of his wit and humor and mostly his ability of bringing levity to everyday challenges of life. Kind, caring man and will be missed.
